Learn how to make new fabric from leftover fabric scraps! The results are just fabulous and best of all, you can use fabric scraps in any size or shape.
The process is simple. Start with a foundation fabric backed with lightweight fusible interfacing, then layer fabric scraps, ribbons and even decorative fibers on top of the fabric randomly. Place a layer of sulky solvy stabilizer on top of the fabric scraps, pin everything together, and start sewing using free motion or even decorative stitches. Once sewn, simply wash away the solvy stabilizer and allow to dry.
